Gonzalez Promotes Engineering Careers to Middle School Girls

At the 16th Annual Women Breaking Through Conference in San Antonio, civil engineer Jessica Gonzalez presented to middle school girls about forensic structural engineering and shared valuable insights into the path to becoming an engineer and about her career at WJE. She also led a team-building activity, helping students build structures using spaghetti, tape, and rope.

The Women Breaking Through Conference allows middle and high school girls to explore the world of science, technology, engineering, and mathematics through workshops and keynote panels.
