High School Welding and Engineering Students Visit Janney Technical Center

The Janney Technical Center recently hosted students from Glenbrook North High School (GNHS) in Northbrook, Illinois.
Students enrolled in GNHS's Welding class toured our full laboratory facilities and received a detailed overview of our welding techniques. Staff provided insights on projects we are working on and offered hands-on demonstrations in the welding shop.
Students from GNHS' Introduction to Engineering Design class were given an overview of WJE and ideas regarding decisions about their future careers. They also did a walkthrough of our labs and watched a rebar failure in the Riehle test machine.
All the students were engaged, asked excellent questions, and provided positive feedback about their experience.
