Scott S. Dolan

Experience

Scott Dolan specializes in the investigation and rehabilitation of roofing and waterproofing systems. He has gained experience working on more than one hundred million square feet of roofing and waterproofing projects, including condition surveys, failure analysis, roof moisture surveys, construction document preparation, and construction administration services. Mr. Dolan has extensive experience with all major low- and steep-slope roofing system types, including built-up roofing, single-ply membrane, modified bitumen, polyurethane foam, sheet metal, asphalt shingle, slate, and tile. In addition to investigations and rehabilitation, he has assisted with the resolution of insurance claims and litigation support.

• Hurricane Sandy - NJ, NY, and PA: Investigation of more than forty damaged roofs on a variety of building types, including single- and multifamily residential, commercial, industrial, and retail; roofing types included built-up, single-ply, modified bitumen, asphalt shingles, and architectural sheet metal roofing
• Dick’s Sporting Goods - Winchester, VA: Investigation of fire damage to single-ply roofing
• Rex Heat Treat - Lansdale, PA: Investigation of wind damage to low-slope single-ply roofing

• The Marketplace at Edgewater - NJ: Damage claim assessment of 70,000 square feet of low-slope built-up roofing and 14,000 square feet of architectural sheet metal roofing
• Sugar House Condominiums - Jersey City, NJ: Investigation of terrace leakage, preparation of renovation construction documents, and construction observation

• Kennett Consolidated School District - Kennett Square, PA: 2010 roof asset management survey of six schools; five administrative and maintenance buildings; 131 roof areas totaling 460,000 square feet, including built-up, modified bitumen, asphalt shingle; and single-ply EPDM roofing
