Experience
Robert Vilan has extensive experience in the evaluation and performance testing of curtain walls and various facade systems. Before joining WJE, he managed and performed laboratory mock-up testing on behalf of Intertek. This testing encompassed all aspects of performance, including but not limited to, air, water, structural, and thermal tests. Mr. Vilan possesses skills in operating heavy equipment, welding, and mechanics. He is instrumental in providing field technician services, bringing together knowledge and hands-on experience to WJE’s construction-related services.

Field Performance Testing

- South Florida Baptist Hospital – Plant City, FL: Field performance testing, including AAMA 501.2, ASTM E783, and ASTM E1105 of windows, curtain walls, air barriers, and expansion joint assemblies.; load deflection testing of in-service curtain wall sunshade brackets
